Dr. Miget Lujan Bevacqua, assistant professor of Chamorro Studies at the University of Guam and co-chair of the Independence Task Force for the governor’s Commission on Decolonization, giving a lecture on the nuclear threat to Guam posed by the U.S. president’s policies, before introducing a panel of scholars and activists, including, from right, Dr. James Sellmann, the dean of the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences and professor of philosophy; Victoria Leon Guerrero of the UOG Press at MARC, co-chair of the Independence Task Force; and Social Work major and political activist Ray Lujan.
